In enterprise, political behavior is the way in which an enterprise associate acts or conducts oneself and which is not required as part of his or her formal role, but influences or attempts to influence the enterprise's behavior, especially distribution of advantages and disadvantages within the enterprise, or, vice versa, reduces or attempts to reduce the enterprise's influence on him or her.
