CNM Digital

CNM Digital (hereinafter, the Services) is online-based and online-supported services brought to the general public by Friends Of CNM. The Services represent a variety of products primarily delivered through CNM Cloud and designed to support patrons of Career Network Ministry beyond its face-to-face meetings.

Services

Nets

Main wikipage: CNM Nets

CNM Nets is the Service that allows for management of groups and group spaces, as well as for user's identity and access management. This Service is not available to the general public; only those users who have obtained the CertAssociate role can access it.

The primary purpose of CNM Nets is to accommodate a network of:

• Industry councils, which group those professionals who share their industries; and
• professional committees, which group those professionals who share their occupations.

This Service is powered by CNM Netware, which backs a social network. Each Friends Of CNM community can have its own "space", which includes internal board, messaging, and private wiki engine.

Wikis

Main wikipage: CNM Wikis

CNM Wikis is the Service that allows for public collaborative knowledge. This Service is available to the general public at no cost; its primary purpose is to accommodate the open-to-the-general-public development of the Services.

As a result, any visitor of the World Wide Web, called NetAnyone, can access publicly-developed information related to the Career Network Ministry and Friends Of CNM, as well as vocational discovery, career building, and job search.

This Service is powered by CNM Wikiware, which backs a collaborative knowledge system. CNM Cloud includes two other wiki engines, one is in CNM Nets and another in CNM Labs. However, CNM Nets' and CNM Labs' wiki engines are used to host private content only.

Certs

Main wikipage: CNM Certs

CNM Certs is the Service that allows for learning and certification management. The primary purpose of CNM Certs is to accommodate learning sequences and assessments.

Some courses and assessments are available to the general public, while others are not:

1. All services of the Career Network Ministry are free-of-charge. Those services may include courses such as CNM Orientation, CNM PMP Bootcamp, and assessments;
2. The Friends Of CNM offers free-of-charge services only to its associates; users shall obtain the CertAssociate role in order to access them. The Friends Of CNM can also offer paid courses and assessments to those users who have obtained the NetConsumer role.

This Service is powered by CNM Certware, which backs a learning management system and exam engine.

Pages

Main wikipage: CNM Pages

CNM Pages is the Service that allows for public websites. This Service is available to the general public at no cost:

1. Its primary purpose is to present the Services in the World Wide Web and to accommodate early interactions with prospective clients. As a result, any visitor of the World Wide Web, called NetAnyone, can see official information related to the Career Network Ministry and Friends Of CNM, as well as vocational discovery, career building, and job search;
2. Its secondary purpose is to present individual CNM friends, especially while serving as their resume websites.

This Service is powered by CNM Pageware. Each website is backed by a separate content management system.

Labs

Main wikipage: CNM Labs

CNM Labs is the Service that allows for management of software development projects. This Service is not available to the general public; only those users who have obtained the CertAssociate role can access it.

The primary purpose of CNM Labs is to accommodate the private development of CNM Cloud, which is the technology behind the Services. This technology is divided in several parts and development of each part occurs under a separate contract. The contracts are awarded to external vendors. The Service grants each part a separate "space". When its development contract is awarded, its vendor gets access to this "space", which includes tasks, reports, documents, and file hosting.

This Service is powered by CNM Labware, which backs a project management system, collaborative knowledge system, version control system, and file storage.

Mails

CNM Mails is the Service that allows for emails. This Service is not available to the general public; only those users who have obtained the CertFellow role can access it.

The primary purpose of CNM Mails is to accommodate emailing from and to the stakeholders of the Services. This Service is powered by CNM Mailware, which backs an email management system.

Videos

CNM Videos is the Service that allows for video tagging, categorization, sequencing, and sharing. This Service is available to the general public at no cost; its primary purpose is to accommodate user-friendly access to those videos that are relevant for the Career Network Ministry and Friends Of CNM, as well as vocation discovery, career administration, and/or job search.

This Service is powered by CNM Videoshareware, which backs an audiovisual content management system.

Linkups

Main wikipage: CNM Linkups

CNM Linkups is the Service that allows for collecting, categorizing, grooming, and sharing of current and prospective customers' data. This Service is not available to the general public. Those users who have obtained the CertAssociate role can privately access only their own sections. Those users who have obtained the CertFellow roles can access only data that CertAssociates choose to share with them. CertFellows can also manage the contact information that is shared throughout the Service.

Two purposes of CNM Linkups are:

1. To support relationships of the Service patrons with their prospective employers and job-market intermediaries; and
2. To extend customer information available to the WorldOpp Fellow Staff for its work with its stakeholders. The staffers use another customer relationship system, the one that belongs to CNM Ventures, to manage their relationships with them.

This Service is powered by CNM Linkupware, which backs multiple customer relationship systems.

Ventures

CNM Ventures is the Service that allows for enterprise operations such as:

1. Market engagement management:
   • Sales
   • Customer support
   • Procurement
   • Recruitment
2. Business process management:
   • Manufacturing
   • Asset management
   • Project management
   • Human resource management
   • Accounting

The Service features three levels of accessibility:

1. Sales and customer support are available to the general public. Through this Service, the Friends Of CNM is able to bring workforce services of the vetted providers. Every visitor called a NetAnyone can access the online store and ticket system;
2. Procurement and recruitment are available to those users such as employment applicant and prospective vendors who have obtained the NetConsumer role;
3. All other features are available to only those users who have obtained the CertFellow role and are responsible for the enterprise operations.

This Service is powered by CNM Ventureware, which particularly includes enterprise resource planning software, customer relationship management software, project management software, and help-desk software.

Purposes

Objectives

The Services are being designed to:

1. Help worktime sellers:
   • Discover vocations through hands-on professional experiences;
   • Build careers through obtaining credentials and professional networks; and/or
   • Land jobs through a multitude of marketing vehicles, which include networking, interviewing, applicant-tracking systems, and social media tools;
2. Help employers:
   • Source pulls of qualified candidates;
   • Screen the selected applicants;
   • Develop their workforce;
3. Advance the job market through:
   • Sourcing and screening those intermediaries that are active on the job market;
   • Collaborating with leading job-market intermediaries;
   • Connecting the buyers and sellers of workforce services.

Target audiences

Target audiences can be divided in three categories:

1. Current and potential worktime sellers
2. Current and potential employers
3. Current and potential job-market intermediaries

User permissions

With regard to Opplet roles:

• Any NetAnyone shall be able to:
  1. View and search for:
     • Videos while using the public interface of CNM Videos.
     • Wikipages while using the public interface of CNM Wikis.
     • Webpages while using the public interface of CNM Pages.
  2. Make purchases and/or donations at the store while using the public interface of CNM Ventures. In order to do that, a NetAnyone shall be able to view and search for items for sale. After the purchase, a NetAnyone shall be granted a CertPartner role.
  3. Submit one's email address for any newsletter subscription through filling in any Subscribe Form. After the submitting, a NetAnyone shall be granted a NetConsumer role.
  4. Take:
     • CNM Intro Quiz using CNM Pages. Upon the graduation, a NetAnyone shall be granted a CertPartner role.
     • WorldOpp Orientation using CNM Nets for enrollment and CNM Certs for graduation. To get enrolled, a NetAnyone shall be able to: (a) click on any Get-Started Clickable, (b) get to the Opplet.net Registration, (c) fill in one's credentials including (1) login name, (2) password, and, (3) optionally, email address, and (d) submit one's credentials through CNM Nets. Upon the graduation, a NetAnyone shall be granted a CertAssociate role.
  5. Engage with the Services while accessing the engagement pages of CNM Labs, CNM Mails, CNM Linkups, CNM Nets, and CNM Certs.
• Any NetConsumer shall be granted the role of NetAnyone by default and, in addition, be able to:
  1. Receive one or more subscriptions that one has subscribed to through corresponding Subscribe Forms.
  2. Manage one's subscription using one's personal interface of CNM Nets.
• Any NetCustomer shall be granted the role of NetConsumer by default and, in addition, be able to access:
  1. All the details of one's order or orders at CNM Ventures.
  2. One's financial transactions from and to the Friends Of CNM at CNM Ventures.
• Any CertPartner shall be granted the role of NetCustomer by default and, in addition, be able to:
  1. Manage one's participation in Friends Of CNM communities using one's personal interface of CNM Nets.
  2. Work on those projects that they are authorized to access using one's personal interface of CNM Labs.
  3. Comment on:
     • Webpages at CNM Pages.
     • Videos at CNM Videos.
  4. Take those courses at CNM Certs that are available without prerequisites.
• Any CertAssociate shall be granted the role of CertPartner by default and, in addition, be able to:
  1. Create a new Friends Of CNM community while using one's personal interface of CNM Nets.
  2. Upload videos to CNM Videos.
  3. Upload SVG files to and edit wikipages at CNM Wikis.
  4. Become a CertFellow while having been graduated from the WorldOpp Placement Seminar.
• Any CertFellow shall be granted the role of CertAssociate by default and, in addition, be able to:
  1. Access one's personal interface of the:
     • Corporate portal of CNM Ventures.
     • Individual portal of CNM Linkups.
  2. Take the WorldOpp Bootcamp at CNM Certs.
  3. Send, receive, and manage emails at CNM Mails.
  4. Administer CNM Wikis, CNM Pages, and CNM Videos.

Development

CNM Cloud

The development of the Services, which, in fact, is a CNM's digital transformation project, currently occurs under the CNM Cloud Project.
