Change management (hereinafter, the Management) refers to one or more of the following:
- The management of change and development within an enterprise;
- The controlled identification and implementation of required changes within a computer system;
- Change-control management.
Definitions
According to the BABOK Guide (3rd edition),
- Change management. Planned activities, tools, and techniques to address the human side of change during a change initiative, primarily addressing the needs of the people who will be most affected by the change.
