* Three courses. I see two first courses on our Moodle; however, their condition is unknown. At any rate, they need to be refreshed with new discussion sections added. Furthermore, I would prefer four things. First, to move the second part of the second course called Orientation to the third course. Second, to translate the first Russian-language course into English. One lesson of the Russian-language course that is dedicated to job search will make no sense since the second course will address job search. So, third, I would make a new lesson as an intro to our tech instead. Finally, new practice job descriptions shall outline the third course.

Our story after August of 2022, when our job-search website's accounts were banned, shows that recruiting is the key. First of all, we need more coordinators and, secondly, new recruits test the program itself. I hoped that there was a chance that iDosvid would generate new recruits, but my hope is fading. CNMCyber looks like a better shot.

I envision an extended-budget marketing campaign in Pakistan, Ukraine, and the US. However, this campaign makes no sense until we can sufficiently serve new recruits. To do so, we need (a) tech so new recruits can learn and work, (b) three courses to get prepared new recruits to start working, (c) practice jobs, and (d) market presence at the very least.

The website is the dream tool for the market presence. While we are lacking any website, we can temporarily use a YouTube channel and meetup group. We have done many great things; it is time to show the others what we do. For our market presence, our events and videos are simply vital. As of now, we are preparing the This-Week and Guided-Tours series, but I feel like we also need User-Groups' events. So, the projects' plans are:

  • Tech. I expect that Sonya and Vitaly will test the Coordinator position in order to develop our tech. As soon as we document the tech we have, we will restart hiring contractors. Guided-Tours and User-Group series shall directly contribute to the tech development as well.
  • Three courses.
  • Practice jobs. Gary expects that the Website Developer and Event Organizer positions be available by the end of May. The Asset Operator position will be developed on the fly when new students will be in the pipeline.
  • CNMCyber This Week. I consider this series as the backbone for our new recruitment endeavor. These events shall combine two parts. This very email shall serve as a prototype for their first part in which we will discuss our developments and plans. The recruitment section will be its second part. I hope that next week's event will be recorded and we will publish the recording on YouTube.
  • CNMCyber Guided Tours. This series shall introduce potential recruits, contractors, and volunteers to our tech. As soon as we launch the This-Week series, we should launch CNMCyber Guided Tours to cover one CNM COTS-based package each week. It doesn't matter good or bad. Any "good" starts with "bad".
  • User Groups. In summer of 2022, we organized several meetings with experts Joseph and Nenad. Those meetings were helpful, but chaotic since we tried to discuss many-many things at the same time, sometimes, without any preparation. I am sure that we should take that experience to the next level. User groups shall be that level -- we would take just one COTS-based solution and discuss it.
  • iDosvid. We have postponed that project because of a lack of human resources. I estimate that its development can take about 2,000 hours without the tech platform and practice positions' development. I assume that we will restart the project as soon as we have a coordinator for at least 20 hours a week. At the same time, the high-school students will be benefited from other developments, especially CNMCyber tech and Guided-Tours.
