CNMCyber Week 2023-05-31 is the CNMCyber This Week event on 31 May

The predecessor event is CNMCyber Week 2023-05-24

Coordinator's reports

  • Gary: Held office hours without recording at 1pm EST/EDT on Thursday and Tuesday. Both sessions were productive, plans to start recording and, in order to diversify meeting timing, move Tuesday's events 2 hours earlier. Worked on CNM Website Projects. Decided that its Talk page should serve as the project wikipage. Thinking on a dilemma whether the developers should claim projects on the projects page or This-Week meeting pages. Expects that this sprint will be closed by June 7th. Eventually learned that no English-language CNM Technology Board meeting is available; probably, Educaship Proxmox issues shall be blamed for that. For now, decided to postpone those meetings. Worked with Natalia and Muhammed to restore our Proxmox cluster and return a Educaship Jitsi instance to there. Is highly interested in moderation of our videoconferences via a Proxmox VM in order to avoid unexpected interruptions. Another VM may be used for recordings. Starting next week, plans to move the developers' work to the claim-get-approved-close format. Also waits until Rita's connection will improve in order to transfer This-Week series to her as Kevin will move to the Tech Board meetings. Participated in interviews with:
    1. Jitsi contractor that Sonya organized. The interview was the most productive so far and we are ready to award the first Jitsi contract.
    2. MediaWiki/LDAP contractor that Kevin organized. The interview was finally productive and we are ready to award the first MediaWiki/LDAP contract as well.
  • Sonya: We worked on the CNMCyber Welcome Agenda page, I put together a speech for me and Rita and described the visuals for the CNMCyber Welcome Session and made a little picture. Despite the problems with the CNM Technology Board meeting videos I worked on the survived videos and meeting descriptions on the wiki, I'm done with that for now, but next week I plan to do some more editing on the CNM Technology Board page and the Educaship Jitsi page. Also, next week we should create a Welcome for Website Devs page as we are working on the Welcome Session. I also plan to prepare a little more for the Welcome Session, perhaps do something like a power point presentation.
  • Kevin: Developed Business requirements for CNMCyber.com Home posted on it's project's page. Continued search for qualified Educaship MediaWiki expert. Landed one and held an interview with Gary and Natalia. The interview was a success and we are ready to issue a contract. Attended office hour and got an answer to where to hold an interview with the aspiring Mediawiki expert. Updated the Educaship MediaWiki discussion page with the contractor conversations and added initials to each contractor conversation.
  • Rita: This week I worked with Sonya on CNMCyber Welcome Agenda. We also discussed that I will handle the speech/ introductions and Sonya to handle presentations and together we answer questions. What is left now is to set the date and have a live session. We might need to market the event so that we get numbers, because we should have it maybe on the last week of June. Secondly I attended office hour Thursday and Tuesday where I got clarification about content management system as my project and edited business and stakeholder requirements.I also trained with Kevin oh how to host an event using Educaship Jitsi and recording Next week as I transition to event organizer I want to work update our welcome message on meet up and organize next weeks events.
