Deployment (alternatively known as resource deployment) is the process or process result of putting something or someone into use. In enterprises, deployment is introduction of a new activity, operation, policy, procedure, program, system, or another resource to an enterprise.

A deployment plan is a schedule of some deployment. A deployment model is a way of deploying. A deployment level is a level of one's deployment.
