A learning model (hereinafter, the Model) is any model that conceptualizes the process of one's learning.

Mental-model development (hereinafter, the Model) is the process of how human beings build their mental models based on their learning experiences, as well as a group of learning models or theories that conceptualize that process. The primary purpose for the research into the Model is to design learning experiences and/or sequence them.

A few theories of social learning are closely related to the Model.

  • Artificial neural network (ANN). The Model based on the biological neural networks present in the brains of animals. Based on the activity of neurons, ANNs are used to solve tasks that would be too difficult for traditional methods of programming.
  • Social learning. The process of learning from the others.
