HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is the standard markup language for web documents. HTML is one of three web languages that complement each other. Among these three, (a) HTML is used to mark up a webpage, (b) Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is used to provide multiple webpages of one or more websites with a single source of truth for their graphic elements, and (c) a programming language, JavaScript (JS), is used to create everything, especially multimedia features, that the first two languages cannot create.
