Webmail (also spelled as web mail or web-mail; alternatively known as webmail client or web-based email; hereinafter, the Client) is any email client based on the World Wide Web and accessible through a web browser.
The Client is traditionally implemented as one or more end-user applications running on some application server that is provisioned by some web server and integrated into the World Wide Web.
