An end-user application (hereinafter, the App) is a software application that functions are initiated by end users rather than by another software application or algorithm. To interact with end users directly, every App shall have its user interface.
The Apps usually provide specific functions for an individual or group of individuals, collectively called end users, and are not a part of enterprise-wide information technology processing.
