Learning management system
Learning management system (also known by its acronym, LMS; hereinafter, LMS) is a system for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of educational courses, training programs, or learning and development programs. Usually, LMS is built using learning management software, with which LMS shares its acronym.
LMS vs MLE
The use of VLE avoids confusion with the use of LMS to mean "Library Management System" (which is more commonly referred to as Integrated Library System, or ILS, in the United States).
