Stakeholder engagement is an individual's involvement with, satisfaction with, and enthusiasm for the organization he or she is associated with.

According to Organizational Behavior by Robbins and Judge (17th edition),
- Employee engagement. An individual's involvement with, satisfaction with, and enthusiasm for the work he or she does.
