Key terms
- User data. Any data that the end-user of a particular system creates or owns.
- User alias. An assumed or additional name that is assigned by the system or user, for instance, to use when the username is inappropriate to use. A user alias that the user assigns to him- or herself for convenience of other users is often called a screen name.
Script
- To protect your privacy, CNM Cabin will also assign you a student alias for CNM Cert -- it will look like a normal name. CNM Cabin generates only gender-neutral names. The login name you have chosen when you created your account would emerge at the other services such as CNM Mail or CNM Wiki. Your real name and other user data will be kept in secret unless you decide to disclose it.
The successor lectio is Federated vs System Roles.
