Internet service provider (also known by its acronym, ISP; hereinafter, ISP) is an organization that is authorized by the Internet administration to provide domain names, store DNS zones, and return public requests with their data. With some exceptions, ISPs provide network access directly to end users or resellers. Many ISPs are also hosting providers.
