Operating income
Operating income (commonly known as EBIT; hereinafter, EBIT) is earnings from operations before interest and taxes. The positive EBIT is called operating profit; the negative EBIT is called operating loss.

- Operating income. Earnings from operations before interest and taxes (i.e., EBIT).
