Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (alternatively written as earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization; also known by its acronym, EBITDA) is one of financial indicators.

EBITDA. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization.

According to Fundamentals of Financial Management by Eugene F. Brigham and Joel F. Houston (15th edition),

EBITDA. An acronym for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization.
