Sharing economy is business arrangements that are based on people sharing something they own or providing a service for a fee.
Definition
According to Management by Robbins and Coulter (14th edition),
- Sharing economy. Business arrangements that are based on people sharing something they own or providing a service for a fee.
According to Marketing Management by Keller and Kotler (15th edition),
- Sharing economy. When consumers share bikes, cars, clothes, couches, apartments, tools, and skills and extract more value from what they already own.
