Foreign compulsion exception is exemption from a home country's law. When a law of an organization's home country does not apply because it is in conflict with laws of the country where the organization is doing business.

According to the HRBoK Guide,
- Foreign compulsion exception. Exemption from a home country's law. When a law of an organization's home country does not apply because it is in conflict with laws of the country where the organization is doing business.
