Power distance
Power distance is a national culture attribute that describes the extent to which a society accepts that power in institutions and organizations is distributed unequally.

According to Organizational Behavior by Robbins and Judge (17th edition),
- Power distance. A national culture attribute that describes the extent to which a society accepts that power in institutions and organizations is distributed unequally.
According to the HRBoK Guide,
- Power distance. The degree of hierarchy. A term Geert Hofstede uses in his cultural theory to describe hierarchical relationships between people in a culture. For example, high power distance means there are strong hierarchical relationships. Low power distance means greater equality and accessibility among members of the population.
