Quaternary sector

Quaternary sector (alternatively known as quaternary degree of the economy, quaternary stage of the economy) is one of two:

1. The digital industry or economy segment that groups those enterprises that produce digital products; OR
2. The economy segment that groups those enterprises that do research and design new products.
