Service provider

Service provider (also known by its acronym, SP; hereinafter, SP) is someone or something that provides some service. SP may or may not be a service company.

According to the ITIL Foundation 4e by Axelos,

Service provider. A role performed by an organization in a service relationship to provide services to consumers.
