Organizational change management practice (hereinafter, the Practice) is the practice to ensure that changes in an organization are smoothly and successfully implemented and that lasting benefits are achieved by managing the human aspects of the changes. The Practice relates to organizational change and service management. This Practice is a part of the ITIL practices.

According to the ITIL Foundation 4e by Axelos,

Organizational change management practice. The practice of ensuring that changes in an organization are smoothly and successfully implemented and that lasting benefits are achieved by managing the human aspects of the changes.
