Exit criteria is quantitative and qualitative measures that are visible and can clearly show that success has been achieved. Examples of quantitative goals would include 98% on-time delivery, manufacturing lead-time of 2 days, productivity of 89%. Examples of qualitative goals would include having all A parts on Kanban, documentation of operating rules, 5S checklists, communication boards, training matrix, posted metrics, etc.
