Globalization this refers not only to the expansion of international trade in goods and services but also to the degree of interdependence that goes along with the integration of production across national boundaries and the resulting increase in international investment by multinational enterprises.

Globalization. Refers not only to the expansion of international trade in goods and services but also to the degree of interdependence that goes along with the integration of production across national boundaries and the resulting increase in international investment by multinational enterprises.

According to Managing Quality by Foster (6th edition),

Globalization. An approach to international markets that requires a firm to make fundamental changes in the nature of its business by establishing production and marketing facilities in foreign markets.
