Sexual harassment is any unwanted activity of a sexual nature that affects an individual's employment and creates a hostile work environment.

- Sexual harassment. Any unwanted activity of a sexual nature that affects an individual's employment and creates a hostile work environment.
According to Management by Robbins and Coulter (14th edition),
- Sexual harassment. Any unwanted action or activity of a sexual nature that explicitly or implicitly affects an individual's employment, performance, or work environment
According to the HRBoK Guide,
- Sexual harassment. Inappropriate sexual advances. Unwelcome verbal, visual, or physical conduct of a sexual nature that is offensive or inappropriate.
