What Training Is (hereinafter, the Lectio) is the second lesson part of the Education Essentials lesson that introduces its participants to education and related topics.

This lesson belongs to the Introduction to Education session of the CNM Cyber Orientation. The Orientation is the second stage of the WorldOpp Pipeline.

Training. The organizing of one's learning.

Script

If education facilitates one's learning, training refers to its organizing. Anyone can learn and use those educational tools such as books and videos on their own. Training assumes a person other than a learner to organize learner's experiences.
Knowledge-focused training. The training that focuses on building learner's knowledge, especially work-related knowledge. The training that focuses on building learner's skills, especially work-related skills.
Skills-focused training. The training that focuses on building learner's skills, especially work-related skills.
Abilities-focused training. The training that focuses on building learner's abilities, especially work-related abilities.
