Decision is a choice made from among two or more alternatives.

According to Organizational Behavior by Robbins and Judge (17th edition),
- Decision. A choice made from among two or more alternatives.
Types
- Programmed decision. A repetitive decision that can be handled by a routine approach. In enterprises, programmed decisions are often made according to policies, operative rules, etc.
- Non-programmed decision. A unique and nonrecurring decision that requires a custom-made solution.
