In the United States, professional license (hereinafter, the License) is a designation earned by a person from a state agency that allows this person to exercise some occupation. The Licenses usually require the university title for that profession.

The Hiring Authority will verify professional or state licenses such as (but not limited to) accounting, architecture, bar, engineering, medical, nursing, or certified technician.
