COTS in CNM Cloud
COTS in CNM Cloud (hereinafter, the Lectio) is the lesson part of the Soft behind CNM Cloud lesson that introduces its participants to CNM Cloud. This lesson belongs to the Introduction to CNM Cloud session of the CNM Cyber Orientation.

Script
- CNM Cloud utilizes only those commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software solutions that are open-source.
- For instance, CNM Farms is built using Linux-alike operating systems. MariaDB and PostgresSQL are used in relational database management systems (RDBMSes). Apache Cassandra, a NoSQL distributed database management system (DDBMS) solution, is used in the federated database.
- WorldOpp Middleware uses OpenLDAP to communicate with CNM apps; to communicate with the federated database, Talend is utilized.
- Similarly, CNM apps use a variety of COTS solutions.
- CNM Pageware utilizes WordPress, which is the most popular content management system in the world. CNM Cabin is currently relying on Ghost CMS.
- CNM Certware uses Moodle, which is the most popular learning management system (LMS) in the world. CNM Ventureware utilizes Odoo. CNM Talkware is using Jitsi under its hood. CNM Wikiware is build using Mediawiki, the same software that Wikipedia uses; that is why they look alike.
- Those COTS solutions that are listed above are subject to change, possibly, even before you finish reading these lines. The names are mentioned to give an idea what types of solutions that CNM Cyber Team tends to select.
