Baseline

A baseline may refer to:

• In Belgium, a tagline that introduces a marketable to its potential customers.
• In business analysis, requirements baseline
• In project management and systems engineering, a performance measurement baseline, which integrates scope baseline, schedule baseline, and cost baseline, as well as any of those.

In quality management, baselining is also the process of monitoring internal metrics over time.
