CNMCyber Office Hours (hereinafter, the Series) is the series of CNMCyber events that CNMCyber Coordinators organize on a weekly basis to exchange ideas, to present new developments and plans, as well as to market their work.
+
CNMCyber Office Hours (hereinafter, the Series) is the series of CNMCyber events in which members of CNMCyber Team (hereinafter, the Members) formally interview each other in order to document data, evaluations, ideas, information, opinions, reports, and/or requirements (hereinafter, the Matters) related to CNMCyber generally, as well as CNMCyber practice and CNMCyber products particularly.

One CNMCyber office hour (hereinafter, the Event) refers to a single event of the Series. Because of its #Distinctive features, any of the Events needs to be uniquely initiated, formalized, and closed. Thus, work on the Event exceeds just its organizing. The Event's #Sprint initiation, #Formalization, #Organization or the Event itself, and the Event's #Sprint closing, together, compose a complete sprint (hereinafter, the Sprint).
#Discuss the work of CNMCyber Team over the past week to contribute to the development of the CNM Cloud Project, CNMCyber services and staff of the CNMCyber;

#Get updates on CNMCyber development firsthand.

The Event can also be used to attract people's interest in the project who can become buyers of CNMCyber services later. Unless the Event is Invitation-only, CNMCyber Meetup and CNM Social group serve as primary Communication channels (hereinafter, the Channels).

Development of the Series occurs under the CNMCyber This Week project.

Mandatory
 +
: The mandatory participants of the Event are:
 +
:# Those Members who seek for the Matters (hereinafter, the Interviewers). They can participate in the Event live, directly or by correspondence through their questions. When the Interviewer participate in absentia, the Host asks their questions on their behalf.
 +
:# Those Members who hold or are able to generate the Matters (hereinafter, the Interviewees) that the Interviewers seek.
 +
:# Those who host of the Event (hereinafter, the Hosts). The Hosts are responsible for satisfying of all of the requirements described on the CNMCyber event wikipage. The Interviewees are responsible for appointing the Hosts after receiving the #Authorization.

Product specification
+
: The Hosts and Interviewees always participate in the Series live, directly, and not in absentia. The Interviewee may choose to assume the Host role.

Purpose
+
Optional
The purpose of the Event is to:
+
: The optional participants of the Event can be:
#recruitment of new coordinators;
+
:# Those Members who are interested in the Matters; they can join either CNM Talk discussion or CNM Tube streaming by their choice.
#improve the work of CNMCyber Team especially the coordinators.
+
:# Anyone else. As any other CNMCyber event, the Event is open to the general public to join the Event as guests. They shall have opportunities to ask questions and provide the speakers with their comments via chat of the Event's stream.

Participants
+
Distinctive features
:Participants of the Event are сurrent CNMCyber Team and curious people or potential coord who came from meetup group. By default, the Host is a confirmed participant of any Event. Personally, the Host may identify, contact, and confirm those participants that would be specially invited to the Event.
+
#Authorization, #Scheduling, and #Transcription distinguish the Series from other CNMCyber events.

Enterprise factors
+
Authorization
::Main wikipage: CNMCyber event
+
: Uniquely between CNMCyber events, the Series shares features with both learning seminars and team meetings. Unlike most of other events such as CNMCyber This Week and CNMCyber Welcome Session, each of the Events needs to be authorized separately. The Interviewees are responsible for obtaining authorization from CNMCyber Customer (hereinafter, the Customer) before appointing the Hosts.

Participants' needs
+
: Upon receiving the request to authorize, the Customer may (a) approve the request, (b) decline the request, while providing the Interviewee with the reason, or (c) request changes. While authorizing, the Customer looks for evidence that the Interviewer attempted to find the Matters without the Event.
:Any participant (potential and/or actual CNMCyber Team worker, CNM Event Organizer, etc.) needs to be able to:

:#Know when the Events occur and how he or she can participate in those;

:#Be introduced to as much information as possible prior to the Event the interested individual decides to participate in;

:#Ask qualified questions and get answers first-hand;

:#Review minutes and other documents if the interested individual misses the Event.

CNMCyber Coordinator needs
+
Scheduling
:Any CNMCyber Coordinator needs to be able to:
+
: The Interviewees schedule the Event per request of the Interviewer. The Members are encouraged to indicate their availability on their CNMCyber.com profiles, so the Interviewer should try to find right spots.
:#Present their report and discuss any issues related to your own and other people's reports;

:#Obtain available details about the current state of projects;

:#Discuss any problems and administrative issues on projects;

:#Contribute to solutions for those projects that have been discussed.

The potential Coordinator needs
+
: When the Interviewer requests the Interviewee to respond to the questions, the Interviewer indicates his or her preferred timing of the Event, if any. The Interviewee chooses to answer those questions with or without the Interviewer.
:The potential Coordinator needs to be able to:

:#Understand what CNMCyber is and what we can offer.

:#See how the team operates and ask questions first-hand.

Standing operating procedures
+
Transcription
: To organize the event before it starts, you need to:
+
: CNMCyber transcripts are primary deliverables from the Events.
:# Find this and CNMCyber This Week pages;
+

:# Open a Meetup group https://www.meetup.com/techdc/ and create the event at least one week in advance (you also should get the group administrator rights). Later, you can copy meetings and change small details and the date.
+
Use cases
:## title (required): CNMCyber This Week;
+

:## date and time: time details;
+
Developed product
:## duration: online events are one hour long;
+

:## featured photo: it can be CNM Cyber logo and other logos as well as photos from previous events (if they were offline);
+
Product-to-be-developed
:## description: it should include meeting details and an agenda, for example: description. You also should add the specific details to be discussed at this particular meeting for each event;
+
: Before Sonya coordinated hiring contractors to fix issues of CNM Talk, she interviewed Natalia to describe the issues.
:## topics: you can pick up to 5 topics. Topics describe what your Meetup event is about in a word or two. They also help show our event to members with matching interests. Select a relevant, but wide range of topics that describe our event. For example: Career Networks, Job Search, Reporting, Recruiting & Hiring, Project Management;
+

:## location: make this an online event and add the link;
+
Work requirements
:## allow guests: the number is to be decided, but it's allowed.
+

There may be problems with CNM Jitsi, so you should have more than 1 alternative video conferencing platform, preferably one internal and one external such as Zoom or Google meet;
+
Work-related knowledge
:# Create the page of this meeting on wiki. It should look like this: CNMCyber Week 2023-03-01. It includes a short description of the meeting subject and brief coordinator's reports and as well as links to predecessor and successor events, and to :Category:CNMCyber This Week;
+
: Incumbents of CNMCyber practice need bodies of work-related knowledge in order to be successful in their jobs, whether running ongoing operations or undertaking projects. In spring of 2023, a number of people were hired to start working as CNM Website Developers. They were offered to attend learning sessions that one day were supposed to become Website Developer Bootcamp.
:# Prepare recording tools. You can use this function in CNM Jitsi, OBS Studio, Zoom, or Google meet and have at least 2 alternative programs to record just in cases such as Xbox Game Bar or OBS Studio, and you should use 2 programs in parallel, for example, recording in CNM Jitsi + OBS Studio. You may use OBS Studio as your primary recording tool and CNM Jitsi as the secondary recording tool (more details: issues). Detailed recording SOP are described here.
+

:# Invite other coordinators to join the meeting and give them a link to the page of this meeting (where they can write down their brief reports);
+
: Because of a number of participants, those learning sessions were pretty ambiguous and not too productive. To make them more focused, the Series was developed.
:# Prepare the report about your work last week: CNMCyber Coordinator needs.

 +
:# Agree on the time and date when the event will take place when both parties mutually agree to attend the event.

Security
+
Formalization
: For security, we use Fail2ban because it operates by monitoring log files (e.g. /var/log/auth.log, /var/log/apache/access.log, etc.) for selected entries and running scripts based on them. Most commonly this is used to block selected IP addresses that may belong to hosts that are trying to breach the system's security. It can ban any host IP address that makes too many login attempts or performs any other unwanted action within a time frame defined by the administrator. Includes support for both IPv4 and IPv6.
+
: To formalize the Event, the Interviewee shall:
: Calls use the P2P mode, which is end-to-end encrypted via DTLS-SRTP between the two participants for encrypted communication (secure communication). Group calls also use DTLS-SRTP encryption, but rely on the Jitsi Videobridge (JVB) as video router, where packets are decrypted temporarily. All data is transmitted only through our server, and comprehensive TLS encryption provides protection against interception and unauthorized eavesdropping.

Malware protection
+
Organization
:Previously, CNM Cloud developers struggled with the viruses, so an effective anti-virus strategy must be found -- what was the solution?
+
: To organize the Event, the Host shall satisfy the requirements that the CNMCyber event wikipage states.

User group
+
:During the event (for live events);
:The Meetup group https://www.meetup.com/techdc/ and the user group at CNM Social CNMCyber Users publishes all the announcement and notifications for online Events. The group at CNM Social CNMCyber Event Organizers publishes all the recommendations for online Events. The group at CNM Social Welcome (group) publishes all the recommendations for new members.
+
:# Be not only a participant but also the host of the event, it include:
 +
:## connect to the meeting at least 5 minutes before it begins;
 +
:## switch on the recording of the meeting in Educaship Jitsi and in a second another program (more about how to record meetings);

Sprint closing
: :Category: CNMCyber This Week
+
: To close the Sprint, the Interviewer shall:

Participants

Mandatory

The mandatory participants of the Event are:
 1. Those Members who seek for the Matters (hereinafter, the Interviewers). They can participate in the Event live, directly or by correspondence through their questions. When the Interviewer participate in absentia, the Host asks their questions on their behalf.
 2. Those Members who hold or are able to generate the Matters (hereinafter, the Interviewees) that the Interviewers seek.
 3. Those who host of the Event (hereinafter, the Hosts). The Hosts are responsible for satisfying of all of the requirements described on the CNMCyber event wikipage. The Interviewees are responsible for appointing the Hosts after receiving the #Authorization.
The Hosts and Interviewees always participate in the Series live, directly, and not in absentia. The Interviewee may choose to assume the Host role.

Optional

The optional participants of the Event can be:
 1. Those Members who are interested in the Matters; they can join either CNM Talk discussion or CNM Tube streaming by their choice.
 2. Anyone else. As any other CNMCyber event, the Event is open to the general public to join the Event as guests. They shall have opportunities to ask questions and provide the speakers with their comments via chat of the Event's stream.

Distinctive features

#Authorization, #Scheduling, and #Transcription distinguish the Series from other CNMCyber events.

Authorization

Uniquely between CNMCyber events, the Series shares features with both learning seminars and team meetings. Unlike most of other events such as CNMCyber This Week and CNMCyber Welcome Session, each of the Events needs to be authorized separately. The Interviewees are responsible for obtaining authorization from CNMCyber Customer (hereinafter, the Customer) before appointing the Hosts.
Upon receiving the request to authorize, the Customer may (a) approve the request, (b) decline the request, while providing the Interviewee with the reason, or (c) request changes. While authorizing, the Customer looks for evidence that the Interviewer attempted to find the Matters without the Event.

Scheduling

The Interviewees schedule the Event per request of the Interviewer. The Members are encouraged to indicate their availability on their CNMCyber.com profiles, so the Interviewer should try to find right spots.
When the Interviewer requests the Interviewee to respond to the questions, the Interviewer indicates his or her preferred timing of the Event, if any. The Interviewee chooses to answer those questions with or without the Interviewer.

Transcription

CNMCyber transcripts are primary deliverables from the Events.

Because of a number of participants, those learning sessions were pretty ambiguous and not too productive. To make them more focused, the Series was developed.
