CNMCyber Office Hours (hereinafter, the Series) is the series of CNMCyber office hours (hereinafter, the Events), which are CNMCyber events that incumbents of CNMCyber jobs organize to collect requirements and/or gather data from other members of CNMCyber Team such as staffers of CNMCyber Office and/or CNMCyber Customer. The requirements gathered during office hours should lead to the creation and development of relevant wiki pages.

The Series consists of events scheduled to take place on a weekly basis, with the flexibility to occur once, twice, thrice, or even four times as frequently as necessary, depending on the specific needs and requests for coordinators to submit their challenges and progress of what projects they have taken on. In addition to this questions about CNMCyber are also welcome in this session. Anyone is welcome to this event.

Mandatory
 +
: The mandatory participants of the Event are:
 +
:# Those Members who seek for the Matters (hereinafter, the Interviewers). They can participate in the Event live, directly or by correspondence through their questions. When the Interviewer participate in absentia, the Host asks their questions on their behalf.

Distinctive features
To organize the event, you need to:
+
#Authorization, #Scheduling, and #Transcription distinguish the Series from other CNMCyber events.

:1. CNMCyber Customer or a member of CNMCyber Team from whom he/she wishes to collect requirements from.
+
Authorization
:2. Schedule the event on CNM Social, providing the link to the event.
+
: Uniquely between CNMCyber events, the Series shares features with both learning seminars and team meetings. Unlike most of other events such as CNMCyber This Week and CNMCyber Welcome Session, each of the Events needs to be authorized separately. The Interviewees are responsible for obtaining authorization from CNMCyber Customer (hereinafter, the Customer) before appointing the Hosts.
:3. Record the event

:4. Create a script stating the key points that were discussed in the office hours event.

Scope
+
: Upon receiving the request to authorize, the Customer may (a) approve the request, (b) decline the request, while providing the Interviewee with the reason, or (c) request changes. While authorizing, the Customer looks for evidence that the Interviewer attempted to find the Matters without the Event.
:The scope of a project plays a critical role in understanding and defining the specific requirements and objectives of a project. During office hours, the primary focus is to gather essential information about what needs to be achieved through each project. This information gathering process directly influences the scope of the project.

:During office hours event, the following needs to be determined;
+
Scheduling
 +
: The Interviewees schedule the Event per request of the Interviewer. The Members are encouraged to indicate their availability on their CNMCyber.com profiles, so the Interviewer should try to find right spots.

*Project Boundaries: Office hours allow project custome/stakeholders to identify the boundaries of the project. This involves clarifying what will be included in the project's deliverables and what will be excluded.
+
: When the Interviewer requests the Interviewee to respond to the questions, the Interviewer indicates his or her preferred timing of the Event, if any. The Interviewee chooses to answer those questions with or without the Interviewer.
*Define deliverables and objectives: During office hour both the contractor and the customer are expected to have a shared understanding of a clear and well-defined deliverables of what will be accomplished upon project completion.

CNMCyber Office Hours (hereinafter, the Series) is the series of CNMCyber events in which members of CNMCyber Team (hereinafter, the Members) formally interview each other in order to document data, evaluations, ideas, information, opinions, reports, and/or requirements (hereinafter, the Matters) related to CNMCyber generally, as well as CNMCyber practice and CNMCyber products particularly.

One CNMCyber office hour (hereinafter, the Event) refers to a single event of the Series. Because of its #Distinctive features, any of the Events needs to be uniquely initiated, formalized, and closed. Thus, work on the Event exceeds just its organizing. The Event's #Sprint initiation, #Formalization, #Organization or the Event itself, and the Event's #Sprint closing, together, compose a complete sprint (hereinafter, the Sprint).

Participants

Mandatory

The mandatory participants of the Event are:
 1. Those Members who seek for the Matters (hereinafter, the Interviewers). They can participate in the Event live, directly or by correspondence through their questions. When the Interviewer participate in absentia, the Host asks their questions on their behalf.
 2. Those Members who hold or are able to generate the Matters (hereinafter, the Interviewees) that the Interviewers seek.
 3. Those who host of the Event (hereinafter, the Hosts). The Hosts are responsible for satisfying of all of the requirements described on the CNMCyber event wikipage. The Interviewees are responsible for appointing the Hosts after receiving the #Authorization.
The Hosts and Interviewees always participate in the Series live, directly, and not in absentia. The Interviewee may choose to assume the Host role.

Optional

The optional participants of the Event can be:
 1. Those Members who are interested in the Matters; they can join either CNM Talk discussion or CNM Tube streaming by their choice.
 2. Anyone else. As any other CNMCyber event, the Event is open to the general public to join the Event as guests. They shall have opportunities to ask questions and provide the speakers with their comments via chat of the Event's stream.

Distinctive features

#Authorization, #Scheduling, and #Transcription distinguish the Series from other CNMCyber events.

Authorization

Uniquely between CNMCyber events, the Series shares features with both learning seminars and team meetings. Unlike most of other events such as CNMCyber This Week and CNMCyber Welcome Session, each of the Events needs to be authorized separately. The Interviewees are responsible for obtaining authorization from CNMCyber Customer (hereinafter, the Customer) before appointing the Hosts.
Upon receiving the request to authorize, the Customer may (a) approve the request, (b) decline the request, while providing the Interviewee with the reason, or (c) request changes. While authorizing, the Customer looks for evidence that the Interviewer attempted to find the Matters without the Event.

Scheduling

The Interviewees schedule the Event per request of the Interviewer. The Members are encouraged to indicate their availability on their CNMCyber.com profiles, so the Interviewer should try to find right spots.
When the Interviewer requests the Interviewee to respond to the questions, the Interviewer indicates his or her preferred timing of the Event, if any. The Interviewee chooses to answer those questions with or without the Interviewer.

Transcription

CNMCyber transcripts are primary deliverables from the Events.

Product-to-be-developed

Before Sonya coordinated hiring contractors to fix issues of CNM Talk, she interviewed Natalia to describe the issues.

Work requirements

When Rita was taking over meetings of CNM Technology Board, she interviewed Kevin and Gary to understand what was expected from her.

Work-related knowledge

Incumbents of CNMCyber practice need bodies of work-related knowledge in order to be successful in their jobs, whether running ongoing operations or undertaking projects. In spring of 2023, a number of people were hired to start working as CNM Website Developers. They were offered to attend learning sessions that one day were supposed to become Website Developer Bootcamp.
Because of a number of participants, those learning sessions were pretty ambiguous and not too productive. To make them more focused, the Series was developed.
