What CNM Servers Are (hereinafter, the Lectio) is the lesson part of the CNM Cloud Essentials lesson that introduces its participants to CNM Cloud. This lesson belongs to the Introduction to CNM Cyber session of the CNM Cyber Orientation.
Content
The successor predecessor lectio is CNM Apps.
Key terms
- CNM Servers. The combination of computing servers that host CNM Cloud.
- WorldOpp Federated Server. The compute server that hosts the software applications that CNM Middleware powers. The Next Server is one of the CNM Servers.
- CNM Next Server. The compute server that hosts those non-federated end-user applications of CNM Cyber that the CNM Cyber Team administers. The Server is located at the 167.71.244.79 IP address. The Next Server is one of the CNM Servers. Another server, the CNM Fellow Server, hosts the set of CNM apps that is identical to Next Server's set.
- CNM Trial Server. The compute server of CNM Servers that the CNM Cyber Team administers.
- CNM Fellow Server. The compute server that hosts those non-federated end-user applications of CNM Cyber that the WorldOpp Fellow Staff administers. The Server is located at the 159.89.230.212 IP address. The Fellow Server is one of the CNM Servers. Another server, the CNM Next Server, hosts the set of CNM apps that is identical to Fellow Server's set. The difference is that Fellow Server's apps are used for career services, while Next Server's ones are used for hands-on training.
Script
- Each CNM app is installed on one of CNM Servers. In information technology, a computing server is any resource that provides functionality for software applications. Most notably, the CNM Servers provide functionality for CNM apps.
- There are four CNM Servers.
- First, the WorldOpp Federated Server hosts CNM Middleware and all software applications that this middleware powers. Particularly, the Federated Server hosts CNM Cabin.
- Second, the Next Apps such as Wiki Next, Tube Next, and Mail Next are installed on the CNM Next Server.
- Third, the CNM Trial Server is used for the hands-on training and learning by making of CNM Cloud administrators. It doesn't host any specific software all the time. Not only CNM apps may be installed there.
- Last, but not least, all the other CNM apps are installed on the CNM Fellow Server. They include CNM Cert, Lab, Page, Tube, Wiki, and all the apps of the CNM Action Suite.
CNM Cloud on the Web is the successor lectio.
