Educaship (hereinafter, the Fellowship; also known as ternary education) is a workforce preparation fellowship that is a combination of education, career administration, and apprenticeship; in other words, the Fellowship is a blend of learning and work, which is designed to prepare knowledgeable, skilled, capable, and employable workforce.
The Fellowship is brought to the general public by Friends Of CNM. Currently, only CITPMA Fellowship, which is the Fellowship related to project management, information technology, leadership, data analysis, and DevOps, is available. Its purpose is to prepare Information Technology Project Managers. CNM fellows are the participants of the Fellowship.

Components
In order to prepare knowledgeable, skilled, capable, and employable workforce, three components are vital. They are (1) relevant education, (b) professional experience, and (c) work on those projects that are specifically focused on careers.
Education
- The formal education component, which is a part of the Fellowship, may consist of one or more parts, one of which is mandatory:
- (Core) Educaship Bootcamp, which is a pre-apprenticeship training required prior to the apprenticeship component;
- (Elective) GED program , which shall allow obtaining the GED credential when this credential is elected;
- (Elective) Certificate program, which shall allow obtaining an educational certificate when this credential is elected;
- (Elective) Associate degree program, which shall allow obtaining an associate degree when this credential is elected;
- (Elective) Bachelor's degree program, which shall allow obtaining a Bachelor's degree when this credential is elected;
- (Elective) Master's degree program, which shall allow obtaining a Master's degree when this credential is elected;
- (Elective) Terminal degree program, which shall allow obtaining a terminal degree when this credential is elected.
- The formal education component, which is a part of the Fellowship, may consist of one or more parts, one of which is mandatory:
- All degree programs above shall be delivered by partnering educational institutions, which shall be regionally-accredited.
Registered apprenticeship
- Apprenticeship is one of two informal education components of the Fellowship. This apprenticeship may consist of two or more parts:
- (Core) Professional experience, which is entry-level employment in the fields of learning;
- (Core) On-the-job training, which is primarily delivered by mentors.
- Apprenticeship is one of two informal education components of the Fellowship. This apprenticeship may consist of two or more parts:
- Since this apprenticeship is going to be registered, the graduates from the Fellowship are expected to receive a credential from the United States Department of Labor.
Career-focused projects
- Career-focused projects address two objectives. Altogether with apprenticeship, working on these projects is an informal education component of the Fellowship. However, those projects that are specifically focused on careers by their definition primarily target employability. Depending on individual situations, these projects may include one or more of the following, one of which is mandatory:
- (Core) Job marketing research including assessment of:
- Individual's aptitudes, values, and specifics; as well as
- Job market opportunities;
- (Optional) Practitioner's certifications including:
- Formal certifications such as PMP or CITPMA; and
- Informal appraisals such as professional recommendations and professional memberships;
- (Optional) Employment-focused networking including building networks of:
- Target industry professionals;
- Target occupation practitioners; and/or
- Employees of target employers;
- (Optional) Career marketing campaigns including:
- Social media marketing (particularly through LinkedIn);
- Event marketing;
- Elevator pitch, resume and job interview preparations, etc.

Process
We at Friends Of CNM utilize the following five-step process to recruit potential workforce and make it job-ready:
- WorldOpp Sourcing (its target length is from one week to one month): Everyone who is interested in our employment opportunities is invited to take our WorldOpp Work Essentials course, which is absolutely free and available to any graduate from Careerprise Orientation, which is absolutely free and available to the general public.
- Educaship Bootcamp (its target length is from six weeks to three months): Graduates from WorldOpp Work Essentials are offered to start out as WorldOpp Fellow Candidates. Later, one of three candidates shall be promoted to WorldOpp Lead Candidate roles. All candidates usually receive a small stipend from $80 to $320 and are enrolled in the Educaship Bootcamp usually on a full-time basis. Administration of information technology (IT) is the major theme of this bootcamp.
- Careerprise Placement (its target length is from one week to one month): Graduates from Educaship Bootcamp are placed as CNM fellows. These fellows are employees of local companies that support the programme. Their compensation depends on the employer's payroll schedule; however, the fellows often receive some portion of what skilled workers are paid. Traditionally, the fellows are placed in project manager, business analyst, Scrum master, product owner, and tech lead jobs.
- Educaship Onboarding (its target length is from nine months to six years): The fellows are not committed to the fellowship; everyone can leave the fellowship at any time. If the fellow choosess to earn a 4-year degree, the fellowship can last four or more years.
- WorldOpp Support (its length depends on individual needs): When the fellows get fully employed, they can still receive accounting, administrative, financial, legal, managerial, marketing, and technology support.
Miscellaneous
Compensation
- The pay starts from $80 a month and grows as the capacity grows. The interested usually start out as WorldOpp Fellow Candidates and later they gradually move to WorldOpp Lead Candidate, and, further, to WorldOpp fellow roles working as a problem manager, project manager, business analyst, business developer, product owner, Tech Lead, and/or Scrum Master.
Length
- Since the Fellowship is designed to include 4+-year degrees, its length can be 4 years or more. However, most of the Fellows land permanent jobs that pay more than $1,000 a month in 9 months.
