Any WorldOpp joint venture (alternatively known as WorldOpp JV or WOJV; hereinafter, WOJV) is a joint venture created by two parties, one of which is Friends Of CNM (hereinafter, the Alliance) and another (hereinafter, the Host) is a legal entity. Any WOJV is characterized by shared ownership, shared returns and risks, and shared governance.
Purpose
WOJV can be created because of one or more reasons as follows:
- To access new markets. Most likely, the Alliance would like to access , particularly emerging markets.
- To gain scale efficiencies by combining assets and operations.
- To share risk for major investments or projects.
- To access each other's competencies.
