Kaizen (rarely spelled kaizan or known as kaizenshiro meaning kaizen as a target; alternatively known as continuous improvement and continual improvement) is a Japanese word meaning "change for the better."
In organizational behavior, the concept of learning organization is similar to Kaizen.
